Meet Michael
Architect | Founder
Michael Fittz began his Architectural journey in high school with his first drafting class. A fun elective quickly became a life-long passion for architectural excellence. Knowing his ultimate goal was to become an Architect, Michael studied Interior Design as an undergraduate at Harding University and went on to study Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Michael was fortunate to spend nearly a decade of his career honing his skills and developing a passion for excellence at ARRIVE Architecture Group. He’s known throughout the industry as a leader in Senior-Living architecture and has a reputation for being easy to work with from both vendors and clients.
Michael lives in The Colony, Texas with his wife Claire, and three boys, Harrison, Caleb and Grayson.
Meet Devon
Office Manager
Devon joined bldg. Architecture in August 2024. She graduated from Harding University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Prior to her role here, she was a senior accountant for a large mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractor in Texas. Devon assists the bldg. team with a variety of business administration ranging from accounting and financial planning to compliance. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Meet Cesar
Project Manager
Cesar is an Architectural Designer with 15+ years of experience delivering construction documents and coordinating complex multifamily, mixed-use, and hospitality projects. His background includes producing large-scale residential developments working with JHP Architecture/Urban Design. He holds a master’s in construction management and a bachelor’s degree in architecture & civil works from the University of Zulia in Venezuela. Outside of work, Cesar enjoys swimming, reading, and spending quality time with his family, friends, and his dog Toby.
Meet Bruce
Associate Project Manager
Bruce Smith joined bldg. Architecture in early 2023. A graduate of CU, Boulder, where he earned his bachelor’s in environmental design, Bruce is currently growing his architectural experience in Texas and actively working towards licensure. Bruce brings a passion for Architecture and the iterative process to the firm along with his experience in project management and communication. As an Associate Project manager, Bruce handles much of the day-to-day coordination and management of the project’s drawing production. He is directly involved in all aspects of a project from the initial site plan to the Certificate of Occupancy.
Meet MELISSA
Studio Associate
Melissa graduated with a Master’s of Architecture from Florida International University in 2024 and she is currently working toward licensure. Melissa believes that architecture has the power to shape our emotions and support healing, which inspires her pursuit of becoming a healthcare architect. Outside of work, she enjoys journaling, meditating, and exploring the complexities of the human mind. She’s also an adventure-seeker at heart, and planning to earn her skydiving license.
Meet Naomi
Studio Associate
Before joining bldg. Architecture, Naomi graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering. She has always had a knack for creating practical solutions to streamline day-to-day challenges. This, coupled with her love for hands-on work, even inspired her to delve into the world of trades through welding. Using her technical knowledge and experience, Naomi aims to develop seamless practices, systems, and designs for every project — benefiting both the company and the greater community. In her off time, she keeps her creativity flowing through crafting.
